Birchermüesli with figs

Ingredients

Birchermüesli with figs
200 g familia Bio Birchermüesli Original
50 g sultanas
80 g hazelnuts, roasted, roughly chopped
3 dl whole milk
1 apple, e.g. Gala
1 pear, e.g. Bonne Luise
1/2 lemon juice
4 fresh figs (1), cut into small cubes
200 g plain yoghurt
100 g grapes, e.g. rosé-coloured
4 fresh figs (2), cut in slices

Preparation

  1. Stir together the Birchermüesli, raisins, and half of the hazelnuts with the milk. Let sit for approx. 10 minutes.
  2. Grate or finely chop the apple and pear using a Bircher grater, then mix with lemon juice.
  3. Add to the soaked muesli along with the figs (1) and yogurt, and mix well.
  4. Before serving, garnish with the remaining hazelnuts, grapes, and figs (2).

Tip

Stored in the fridge, the Birchermüesli will keep for 2 days. Instead of dairy products, use milk alternatives (oat or soy milk, etc.)
