Crunchy cheese bread

Ingredients

Crunchy cheese bread
500 g farmer's flour
100 g familia Crunchy Müesli (e.g. familia c.m.plus Original)
1 1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 cube fresh yeast, crumbled
about 3 dl lukewarm water
180 g Gruyère cheese, thinly sliced
100 g seedless blue grapes, halved
40 g familia Crunchy Müesli (e.g. familia c.m.plus Original)

Preparation

  1. Mix flour, Crunchy Müesli, salt, and yeast in a bowl
  2. Add water and knead into a soft, smooth dough
  3. Cover and let rise at room temperature for about 1 1/2 hours, until doubled the size
  4. Roll out the dough on a little flour into a rectangle of approx. 30 x 50 cm
  5. Cut the dough into 7 strips crosswise
  6. Fold these strips accordion-style (like a harmonica) and place into prepared pan
  7. Tuck Gruyère cheese slices and halved grapes into the folds of the dough
  8. Let the dough rise again for about 30 minutes
  9. Coat lightly with water and sprinkle Crunchy Muesli on top
  10. Bake for about 35 minutes in the lower half of an oven preheated to 200°C (390°F)
  11. Remove the bread from the oven
  12. Allow to cool-off slightly
  13. Remove from the pan
  14. Leave to cool completely on the oven rack
