2,200 Müesli snacks for Obwalden schools on Müesli Day

On September 1st 2026, bio-familia is once again bringing Müesli Day to schools in Obwalden. A total of 2,256 pupils will receive a familia Müesli as a mid-morning snack. With this initiative, which has been running since 2014, the Müesli manufacturer from Sachseln aims to raise awareness of a balanced diet as part of everyday school life.

Four schools taking part

This year, Sachseln School, Obwalden Cantonal School, Alpnach School and Giswil School are taking part. In total, bio-familia is providing more than 2,200 portions of familia c.m.plus Choco Protein.

Balanced nutrition in everyday school life

Since 2014, bio-familia has used Müesli Day as an opportunity to bring the topic of nutrition into everyday school life in a simple and enjoyable way. A balanced breakfast or mid-morning snack provides an important foundation for the day.
