Müesli Porridge

Ingredients

compote
450 g cherrys, pitted
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp water
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Porridge
3 dl milk
2 dl water
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
150 g familia Müesli (e. g. Bio Birchermüesli Original)
1 dl full-cream whipped until stiff
2 tbsp unsalted, shelled pistachios, roughly chopped

Preparation

  1. Mix cherries, sugar, water, and cinnamon in a pan, cover, and simmer for about 5 minutes until soft. Set aside.
  2. Boil milk and water with sugar and salt, add Müesli, and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes, stir occasionally. Remove pan from heat.
  3. Fold whipped cream into the porridge and serve with the cherry compote. Sprinkle with pistachios.

Tip
