Traditional Birchermüesli

Traditional Birchermüesli

Ingredients


200 g familia Bio Birchermüesli Original with no added sugar


4 dl milk


1–2 apples (preferably tart varieties)


Other fruit, e.g. grapes, apricots, bananas, depending on the season and personal preference


180 g yoghurt (fruit flavoured or plain)


2 tbsp lemon juice


4 tbsp orange juice


200 ml cream (optional)


Method

  1. Mix the Bircher müesli with the milk. Let it stand for a few minutes.
  2. Chop or grate the apples. Sprinkle them with a bit of lemon juice and add them to the müesli mixture. Chop the other fruit and mix it in. Add the yoghurt.
  3. Stir in a bit more lemon juice and orange juice to give it some kick.
  4. Before serving, whip the cream and gently fold it into the müesli.
