Orange cream

Preparation time: approx. 25 minutes
Chill: for approx. 1 hour


300 ml orange juice

1 tbsp lemon juice

40 g sugar

2 tbsp cornflour

1 fresh egg

100 ml whipping cream

1 organic orange, a bit of orange zest, the rest cut in half and then sliced

80 g familia crunchy müesli (e.g. Champion Energy Plus)


  1. Combine the orange juice and the rest of the ingredients up to and including the egg in a pan and bring to the boil over medium heat, whisking continuously. Remove the pot from the heat as soon as the mixture thickens, and continue to stir for around 2 minutes. Pour the cream through a sieve into a bowl, let it cool, cover it, and chill it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  2. Stir the cream until it is smooth. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form, carefully fold it into the chilled cream together with the orange zest, and divide into glasses. Garnish with the orange slices and sprinkle the crunchy müesli on top.
