Müesli bars

Ingredients


200 g dried fruit (e.g. dried apple and mango)


150 g mixed nuts


300 g familia crunchy müesli (e.g. Champion Crisp)


80 g flour


100 g butter


1 egg


50 ml apple juice


170 g honey


Method

  1. Chop the dried fruits and nuts into small pieces. Finely chop the nuts. Mix the dried fruits, nuts and crunchy müesli together in a bowl.
  2. Sieve the flour into the mixture and mix well. Melt the butter and pour it into the müesli mixture together with the egg, apple juice and honey. Mix everything together well.
  3. Pour the mixture onto a baking tray that has been lined with baking paper (25 x 30cm) and press it into an even layer.
  4. Place the baking tray in the centre of an oven that has been preheated to 170°C and bake for approximately 30 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting into 3 x 3 cm bars.
