Honey-nut porridge

Honey-nut porridge


50 g familia Bio Baked Honey Nut

200 ml milk (almond milk can be substituted for cow’s milk)

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp ground almonds

2 tbsp cocoa powder

½ tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp honey or maple syrup

1 pear (finely chopped)


2 tbsp cashews

1 tsp cacao nibs


  • Combine all of the ingredients in a pan and stir to mix. Bring to the boil and simmer for around 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour the porridge into a bowl and enjoy while hot.


Sprinkle cashew nuts, cacao nibs and chopped pears onto the porridge. Instead of pears, bananas are also excellent with this porridge.
