Chocolate mug cakes

For 4 coffee mugs (around 200 ml each), greased


120 g flour

100 g familia crunchy müesli (e.g. Choco Crunch)

110 g sugar

1 packet of vanilla sugar

2 tbsp cocoa powder

¾ tsp baking powder

A pinch of salt

2 eggs

2 tbsp milk

100 g butter, melted, cooled

4 tbsp familia crunchy müesli (e.g. Choco Crunch)


  1. Combine flour and all of the other ingredients up to and including salt in a bowl.
  2. Add the eggs, milk and butter and mix until combined. Pour the batter into the prepared mugs, sprinkle with the crunchy müesli, and press down lightly with a spoon.
  3. Bake in the lower half of an oven that has been preheated to 180°C for approximately 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool the mugs on a wire cooling rack.
