Pear trifle

Preparation time: approx. 25 minutes
Serves 4 (200 ml portions)


50 g walnuts, roughly chopped

1 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp pear juice concentrate (Birnel)

¾ tsp Swiss pear bread spice mix

400 g pears, quartered and sliced

360 g plain yoghurt

50 ml milk

80 g familia crunchy müesli (e.g. fit crisp Apples & Cranberries)


  1. Place the walnuts and sugar in a pan and cook slowly, then allow the walnuts to cool off slightly on a sheet of baking paper.
  2. Mix together the lemon juice, Birnel and Swiss pear bread spice mix in a bowl, then add the pears and mix again.
  3. Mix the yoghurt and milk, then put it into the glasses alternating with the crunchy müesli and the pears, then sprinkle the candied walnuts on top.
